No soy ninguna experta, sin embargo si tengo un gran cariño por la fotografía y creo que es gracias a que por mucho tiempo fue uno de los hobbies de mi papá. Admiro todo el trabajo que hay detrás de una foto, desde el simple hecho de presionar un botón hasta toda la edición y visión que viene después. Para mí la fotografía no involucra tener la mejor cámara y un costoso equipo. Hoy en día hasta con los teléfonos podemos tomar fotos majestuosas.
Soy gran fan de la fotografía moderna y artística que encontramos hasta en nuestras redes sociales. Por eso trato de llenar mis redes de cuentas que su trabajo me inspire.
“Mi primera cámara y yo estábamos destinadas a estar juntas.”
Ahora la historia sobre mi primera cámara y yo… La compré con gran parte de mi dinero (gracias papá y mamá por la otra mitad) y justo el día que fuimos a comprarla tenía un tremendo descuento. Para la cámara que es salió muy barata y hasta la fecha es la que utilizo. Por eso digo que fue el destino quien nos juntó.
Gracias a este gusto por la fotografía también he aprendido algunos trucos para mejorar mis fotos, aunque a veces me gusta facilitarme las cosas y solo tomar fotos con mi celular. La fotografía no es solo tomar fotos de paisajes ó gente, si no de capturar el momento de algo que nos hace genuinamente felices (aunque sea nuestra comida). Por eso para mí es una manera de compartir lo que me gusta y capturar momentos como mis viajes.
"Las fotos guardan grandes historias y las mías guardan... y momentos que siempre me harán feliz."
Los recuerdos van y vienen pero son las fotos en las que podemos plasmar esos momentos para siempre. Eso para mí son las fotos y por eso me gusta tomarlas (y que me tomen jaja). Me encanta poder tener mis fotos en un lugar o impresas y solo recordar todo lo que estaba pasando antes, después, y durante que esa foto fue tomada. Las fotos guardan grandes historias y las mías guardan a mí familia, amigos, comida, viajes, y momentos que siempre me harán feliz.

What photography means to me…
I have to say I’m no expert in photography but I have a lot of appreciation for it. I think it all started because it once used to be my dad’s hobby. I admire photographers and all the work that goes behind each and every single shot. To me, photography doesn’t mean having an expensive camera and equipment Nowadays, we can take magnificent pictures with just our phones.
I’m a huge fan of modern and artistic photography that we can now find all over the social media. That’s why I try to full my feeds only with accounts who’s work inspires me.
“My first camera and I were meant to be together”.
Well, this is the story about my first camera… I bought it with all my money ( and half of it was from my parents, thanks, dad and mom) and the day we went to choose it, it had a huge discount which made it a great deal. That’s why I say we were meant to be together.
“I love having in my hand a piece of paper with big stories of my life and the people I love.”
Thanks to the love I developed towards photography, I’ve learned some tricks to get better. But still, I love to take it easy sometimes and just take pictures with my phone. I don’t think photography is about shooting only landscapes or pretty portraits, it’s about capturing something that makes you genuinely happy (even if it’s our food). It’s a way of sharing what we love and make in it immortal. Memories come and go, pictures stay to remind us how we felt, what we did and where we felt the most alive. That’s why I love taking pictures ( and being taken pictures haha). I love having in my hand a piece of paper with big stories of my life and the people I love.
