¿Por qué la Venecia de Francia?
/ Why the Venice of France?
Annecy es un pueblo en los alpes franceses con una arquitectura y estilo muy italiano. Le llaman la Venecia de Francia ya que tiene canales, puentes con flores y casitas de colores. La parte turística es muy agradable para pasear; hay muchas tiendas, cafeterías y pequeños restaurantes. Hay calles de tiendas grandes y comerciales y en los callejones hay pequeñas boutiques con productos típicos de la región o con cosas más artesanales. Aquí hasta las panadería son hermosas.

Annecy is a town in the French alps and it's called "The Venice of France" because of its italian architecture. It's like Venice because of its little roads, canals, bridges surrounded with flowers and colored houses. It's absolutely charming. It's perfect for a walk, grabbing something to eat and spending a nice afternoon. There are big stores or little artistic boutiques where you can buy local products.
Como de cuento... / Like a fairytale...
Las calles destinadas a los peatones son pequeñitas y cada una te lleva a vistas inimaginables. En un momento estás en un pequeño callejón y de la nada llegas a un canal lleno de cisnes, que tiene una vista increíble a las montañas que rodean el lago. Hay muchas áreas para que los niños jueguen, actividades en el lago, paseos en bicicleta y por favor no se pierdan las crepas o cualquier cosas de las pastelerías que hay. Todos los productos están hechos a detalle y con gran calidad.

The streets that are destinated to bicycles and people are little and cute. In one moment you are in a street full of colorful houses and in the blink of an eye you are on a bridge with an amazing view of the lake and the mountains. Is kind of magical. There are a lot of areas and playground for kids to plays, boat rides, bicycle rides and crepes, loads of crepes and sweet treats. You can even eat dinner at a fancy boat while navigating the lake.
Aún con lluvia... / Even when it's raining
El día que visité Annecy estaba lluvioso y prometo seguía siendo hermoso. El lago, la neblina, las montañas y los barcos se complementaban para crear un panorama maravilloso. Mi parte favorita fue ver como todos los puentes tienen flores con bicicletas recargadas, me pareció como sacado de cuento. Desde que llegué supe que iba a regresar muy seguido.
// The day that I went to Annecy was a little rainy, but that didn't ruin anything. It was still beautiful, the lake, the fog in the mountains and the boats made the whole experience more amazing. My favorite part was seeing all the flowers and bicycles on the bridges, it made me feel like I was living in a fairytale. I know for sure that I'm coming back the second I can.
Otras recomendaciones / Some more advice
Conviene mucho vistarla en verano ya que el clima es agradable y el paisaje es otro. Pero la verdad muero por conocerla cuando caiga nieve, seguro se ha de ver hermosa. Si tienen la oportunidad de pasar un día por aquí háganlo, vale mucho la pena y es un visita muy rápida. Inclusive pueden reservar una cena en uno de los barcos que navega por el lago. Seguro es una experiencia encantadora.
Yo me llevo lo mejor de esta pequeña ciudad colorida. Ojalá puedan ir y si tienen la oportunidad no se olviden de contármela.

It is also a good idea to go during summer and when it's hot because the landscape is completely different. But honestly, I'm dying to go while it's snowing. Annecy is for a quick visit but it's really worth it. If you get the chance to go please tell me and if you've been here I would love to hear what you think. As you can see, I fell in love with it.
