Valle de Bravo es uno de los muchos "Pueblos Mágicos" que hay en México. Lo más atractivo de este lugar es el lago que tiene, por lo que hay muchísimas actividades tanto en el lago como a sus alrededores.

Valle de Bravo is one out of the many "Magic little towns" in Mexico. The most attractive thing about this place is the lagoon it has. That's why there are tons of activities and sports you can practice in and outside the lagoon.
Centro Histórico / Historic Downtown El centro de Valle es ideal para pasear y el clima local es fresco. En la plaza principal se encuentra la emblemática parroquia de San Francisco de Asís, el quiosco principal y muchos puestos de comida y cafeterías con una bonita vista a la plaza. Caminando por lo callejones empedrados y con fachadas viejas hay tiendas de artesanías y restaurantes. A unas pocas cuadras de la plaza está el mercado de artesanías hechas a mano por los indígenas de la región.

The historic downtown of Valle is perfect for taking a walk, the weather is really fresh. In the center you will find the "Plaza independencia" where the San Francisco de Asís Church is. You can also enjoy the food that is sold in the plaza or sit down in a coffee or ice-cream shop that has a nice view to this "plaza".
Walking down a few blocks you can find the two story Craft Market where artists sell their handmade crafts. Also in your way to the market you can enjoy the old architecture of the streets and houses, and you'll be able to find many stores and restaurants.
El Lago / The Lagoon
En el lago hay muchísimas actividades, y sobre todo deportes. Puedes solo pasear en una lancha o puedes esquiar, andar en kayak, practicar ski board, stand-up paddle y más.
La única desventaja que le encuentro a este lago es que el agua es fría por más que sea temporada de calor.

Once in the lagoon you have many activities to choose from. You can either take a boat ride or you can go the extreme way by trying out sports like fly-board, water ski, wakeboard, stand-up paddle and riding a kayak.
The only disadvantage of this lagoon is that even in hot days the water is cold.
Deportes / Sports
Valle se caracteriza por ser una lugar en el que se practican muchos deportes. Además de los ya mencionados anteriormente hay lugar en los cerros para practicar enduro, bici de montaña o de pista y también existen campos de golf, montañas y cascadas para escalar y hacer senderismo. Todavía se puede ir más alto, hay deportes aéreos como vuelos en parapente y ala delta.
En esta visita volé en parapente. Fue una de las experiencias más increíbles que he vivido. Se vuela sobre el lago, despegas de un cerro y aterrizas en la orilla del lago. Los mejores vuelos son entre las 2:00pm y las 3:00pm ya que hace más calor y uno vuela más.
Es muy importante volar con pilotos certificados y que la empresa sea profesional.

Valle is know for being a place where people can practice many types of sports. Besides the ones I already mention you can algo do things in the mountains that surround the lagoon. You can ride four-wheelers, motocross, mountain bikes, road bikes, or go to a golf club, and even make a small trip to the waterfalls.
You can even go higher, by paragliding and hang-gliding.
In this visit I got to do paragliding, it was one of the most exciting experiences I've ever lived. You get to fly above the lagoon, the best timing to fly is between 2:00pm to 3:00pm so make sure you have that in mind in case you book your trip.
It is very important that you book your flights with a professional company and certified pilots.
Donde comer / Where to eat
En cuanto a comida hay muchos restaurantes en el centro.
-La Michoacana: Tiene una vista hermosa al lago y la comida es buena.
-El Fish: Está en el embarcadero y venden principalmente tacos de mariscos y ceviches. Es un lugar chiquito pero delicioso. El servicio es bueno y rápido.
-Los Pericos: Es uno de los restaurantes más famosos ya que es un restaurante flotante. Su especialidad son los mariscos.

-La Michoacana: Is a very nice place with an amazing view to the lagoon.
-El Fish: Is a nice little place in the dock of the lagoon. They sell mostly "seafood tacos" and "ceviches". The service was fast and great.
-Los Pericos: Is one of the most famous ones because it is a floating restaurant, yes is floating in the lake. It's really nice and the food is delicious.
